From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you for your kind sentiments and words of support. I, as well as those near and dear to my mother, am very appreciative of the time and effort it took to reach out to us. I have only recently begun giving my full attention to the thousands of emails, phone messages, cards, and letters that were sent to us. The outpouring of warmth and sincerity is truly amazing and reminds me of how extraordinary it is that one person can inspire such optimism and love in the world. My mother touched the lives of so many and in turn you have touched mine.

While it may take me some time to review each email and message sent, I want to let you know that it is important to me to do so. Some have shared photos, others have shared their stories of meeting my mother for the first time, and of course many have shared how her characters have influenced their lives. All have been extremely heartfelt and sincere. This has been very cathartic, allowing me to feel and express emotions of loss as well as comfort. I just wanted to let you know how much your thoughts mean to me.

As a small token of my appreciation for the happiness you've given my mother over the years, I have enclosed a copy of the "Memory Folder" that I designed to honor her memory. May it bring you the same solace and comfort that your sentiments have brought me.
